'Warhol on Warhol' Signed Original
Story Behind the Artwork
This work explores the internal voice that shaped my self-perception for many years - persuasive, familiar, and not always kind. It reflects a period of confrontation, where I began to recognise the distance between how I thought I was and who I actually was becoming.
Rather than offering clarity immediately, the drawing sits within that tension. It speaks to the mental labour of questioning long-held beliefs, observing thought patterns, and slowly disentangling identity from fear. The piece represents the shift from automatic self-judgment toward conscious self-awareness.
As an original, the drawing carries the traces of that process - moments of hesitation and revision embedded in the surface - marking it as a one-of-one record of a psychological turning point.
